Strategic Play team headed to Johannesburg, South Africa.
They met with old friends Michael Renvillard (formally LEGO® Foundation) and Brent Hutchenson (LEGO® Education) at the offices of Care for Education, a nonprofit organized funded by the LEGO® Foundation. Jacqueline Lloyd Smith attended the fantastic Six Bricks training and is now the first person to bring this method to Canada. Strategic Play Global will now be offering training and certification in this excellent tool, which was created by Brent Hutchenson and is endorsed by Care for Education.

Why we love it!
Brent wanted to find a low cost and high impact way to deliver training to teachers in South Africa. Doing so, he created an amazing program that all children and teachers will appreciate. Six bricks, which uses the larger Duplo® bricks, differs from LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methods primarily because it was specifically created for teachers to deliver to children. If you are a teacher and you want a creative, effective, and inclusive way to bring playful learning to the children you teach, we have the program. This methodology is child centered and teacher friendly. It engages young minds in an entirely new way by connecting concepts to children through engagement while removing barriers. If you want to build literacy, numeracy, social skills, engagement and confidence and you are looking for low cost and high impact tools, email us!
